At Tupton Primary & Nursery Academy, we are committed to ensuring that every child has the opportunity to thrive, succeed, and reach their full potential. The Pupil Premium is additional funding provided by the Government to help us improve the learning and life chances of disadvantaged pupils, including those who are eligible for free school meals, children in care, and pupils with parents in the armed forces.
We use this funding to deliver high‑quality, targeted support that meets the needs of our pupils. This includes:
- High‑quality teaching and targeted academic support
- Pastoral and emotional well‑being provision
- Attendance support and family liaison
- Access to wider experiences, enrichment activities, and extracurricular opportunities
Our aim is to remove barriers to learning, close attainment gaps, and ensure pupils have equitable access to the full curriculum and wider school life. We regularly review the impact of our strategies to make sure funding is used effectively and makes a meaningful difference to our children.
